Magdalena Kluth

Magdalena Kluth doesn’t paint pictures, she maps feeling. Born in Germany, now based in Mexico City, she builds each piece the way memory builds a body: layered, intuitive, and quietly seismic.

At Lola, her ten-foot-wide Wilderness of our hearts // Gentle persistence explores that rare moment when the mind, body, soul, and heart sync up. Merging love is its softer sibling, a study in intimacy without the sugar crash.

Her path wasn’t linear. After studying Fashion and Communication in Düsseldorf and Berlin, she backpacked across continents collecting fragile ceramics and once painted on a beach in Fiji. She's a gifted finder—of keys, of earrings, of the mood behind a moment.

Her practice blends marble dust, ink, pigment, and lime into visual vibrations; archaeologies of connection, transformation, and memory. She believes water stores memory. Her paintings do too.

Magdalena’s work has been featured in Vogue México and Visual Art Journal, and now lives in private collections across Europe, North America, and Latin America. One might find its way to you next.
