Erin Frost

Learns the world one gesture at a time
"She doesn’t paint the body—she traces its soul."
Nate Long, Call Me Lola

Erin Frost grew up in Montana, where the sky teaches you how to pay attention. Now based in Mexico City, Erin’s work traces the space between body and spirit, blending raw movement with quiet reflection. Her large-scale oil paintings feel like memories caught in motion — intimate, abstract, and deeply human. Raised on nature and now guided by the idea of "beginner’s mind," Erin lets improvisation lead the way. She paints like she’s learning the world for the first time, one gesture at a time. At Lola, she shares Child’s Pose — a piece that reminds us that beginnings are tender, messy, and full of potential if we’re brave enough to stay still long enough to notice.
